Is the app available now?

Yes. Ground & Return is live on the App Store for iPhone.

Do I need an account?

No. The app does not require sign-up, login, or any personal information. Your practice state lives on your device.

Is there a subscription?

No. Ground & Return is a one-time non-consumable purchase after a 7-day free trial. You unlock it once and keep it.

What's the difference between Foundation and the Complete Syllabus?

The Complete Syllabus is the playable 28-week / 196-day path in the app. Foundation is the first 12 weeks of that same arc, not a separate shorter product.

Does the app work without internet?

Yes. All sequence data, pose references, and illustrations ship with the app. The only network calls are for in-app purchase verification.

Will it sync across devices?

Not at the moment. Practice state is local. We're considering optional iCloud sync for a later release.

Does it support Apple Health?

Yes, optionally. If you grant permission, completed sessions are saved as Mindful Minutes / Yoga workouts in Apple Health. You can disable this in Settings → Apple Health.

Is it on iPad / Mac / Android?

iPhone only at launch. iPad is on the list. There are no plans for Android or web versions.

I'm a teacher / studio. Can I use this with students?

Yes. Personal practice is what the app is built for, but many teachers use it as a daily reference. Email us if you'd like to talk about studio use.

Data and deletion

Ground & Return does not require an account and does not create a cloud profile for you.

Your practice data is stored locally on your device. You can remove it at any time in the app:

  1. Open Ground & Return
  2. Go to You
  3. Tap Delete all data
  4. Confirm deletion

This removes local practice data, notes, reminders, and app preferences stored by Ground & Return on your device.

Apple Health

If you enabled Apple Health, completed yoga sessions may have been saved to Apple Health as workouts. These records are stored by Apple Health and are not automatically removed when you delete app data or uninstall the app. You can manage or remove those entries in the Health app.

Purchases

Ground & Return uses a one-time App Store purchase. Deleting app data or uninstalling the app does not cancel or erase your App Store purchase history. If you reinstall the app, you can restore purchases from Apple.
