About
A small app for a long practice.
Why this exists
Most yoga apps are built like fitness apps: a feed of new classes, progress dashboards, streaks. Alignment-based daily practice is a different shape. The method asks you to stay — to repeat the same pose, with more attention, until something settles.
Ground & Return was built to fit that shape, not to fight it. One app, one path, one purchase. No infinite content to choose between. Just today's practice, the next pose, and the place you left off.
The practice is to come back. The app is just a door that doesn't ask anything of you on the way in.
What we won't build
-
No subscription.
One unlock, kept forever. The economics of yoga are not the economics of streaming.
-
No login.
The app doesn't want your email. It doesn't want your phone number. Practice locally, on your device.
-
No social feed.
Your practice is not content. Nobody is watching. There is no streak to maintain.
-
No follow-along videos.
Practice pace is not video pace. Hold a pose for as long as it takes today.
-
No notifications, unless you ask.
One optional reminder per day, at a time you choose.
-
No analytics fishing.
We measure crashes. That's it.
Made by
One person. In a small room.
Built by Amit Gaur. If something in the app could be quieter, more accurate, or more honest, I want to know.
